**Valentines SNT update**

Officers from the Valentines Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) conducted a proactive school patrol ahead of the summer holidays, as part of our ongoing dedication to community reassurance and youth engagement.

With the school year ending, the team visited various local schools to check in, provide a visible police presence, and ensure that students, staff, and families felt supported during this transition.
It was uplifting to see so many smiling faces and positive interactions between officers and young people. Our goal was to create a safe, welcoming atmosphere where students can finish the term confidently and enter the summer break feeling protected and valued.
Engaging with the community in this manner helps us strengthen relationships and reinforces the message that we are here to assist—not just in times of need, but every day. We are grateful for the warm welcome from staff and families, and we look forward to more chances to connect with residents during the holidays.
